1. Who we are and what this is

Commodity Intelligence (commodity.spatialsusty.com) is operated by Spatial Sustainability Hub (“spatialsusty”), a company established in Ghana. It publishes market, value-chain and sourcing-risk information for cocoa, coffee and vanilla, compiled from public sources and analyst models. By using the site, its embeddable widgets or its public API you agree to these terms.

2. Information, not advice

Everything on this platform is provided for general information. Prices, forecasts, volatility figures, risk scores and value-chain splits are indicative. Each figure carries a provenance tier — measured, derived or modelled — and the Methodology page explains how it was produced. Nothing here is investment, trading, legal or compliance advice, and you should not rely on it as the sole basis for a commercial decision. Consult primary sources (ICE/LIFFE, ICCO, ICO, FAOSTAT) and your own advisers.

3. Public API and embeds

  • The API and embeds are free, key-less and rate-limited. Do not attempt to bypass rate limits, scrape at volume, or overload the service.
  • You may display, cite and analyse the data. Please attribute Commodity Intelligence (commodity.spatialsusty.com) and the underlying source shown in each response's provenance block.
  • Underlying datasets remain subject to their own licences (for example World Bank, Global Forest Watch and Open-Meteo data under CC BY 4.0; FAOSTAT under FAO terms). Redistribution of raw upstream datasets must respect those licences.
  • Embeds must not be used to misrepresent the source or presented as advice.
  • We may change, rate-limit, or withdraw endpoints. Breaking changes are announced on the API page where practical.

4. Reviews and submitted content

Reviews you submit are moderated before publication and, once approved, are shown publicly with the name and organisation you provide. You confirm you have the right to post them, that they are your genuine opinion, and that they contain no unlawful, defamatory or confidential material. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to display them; we may decline or remove any submission. You can ask us to remove a review at any time (see Privacy).

5. Acceptable use

  • No attempts to gain unauthorised access, probe or disrupt the service.
  • No automated flooding of forms (reviews, newsletter, analyzer, error reports).
  • No use that breaches applicable law or third-party rights.

6. Intellectual property

The site design, text, analyses and models are the property of the operator unless stated otherwise. Third-party data is credited to its source and remains that source's property under the licence noted in the provenance block.

7. No warranty; limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to keep data accurate and sources current, but we do not warrant completeness, accuracy, timeliness or uninterrupted availability. To the fullest extent permitted by law we are not liable for any loss arising from use of, or reliance on, the platform or its data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, and the courts of Ghana have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. If you use the platform as a consumer in the EU/EEA or the United Kingdom, nothing in these terms takes away protections you are entitled to under the mandatory laws of your country of residence.
